Button & Magnet Design Instructions

Button Face is the size of your button or magnet across the center. Bleed Area is the extra background that will wrap around to the back of the button or magnet and into the crimp. You have to have an extra .25" of extra background color or image all the way around your design.

We accept the following formats: .eps, .tif, .jpg, .ai, .psd, .pdf, .zip, .sit, .pub, .doc, and .ppt.

Important Information:

  1. Start your workspace at 300 dpi and save it at 300 dpi. (dpi=dots per inch or pixels per inch)
  2. Size your artwork correctly. Examples: for a 2.25" round artwork should be 2.75" x 2.75" and for a 2" x 2" square artwork should be 2.5" x 2.5".
  3. Do not "crowd" the edge of the button or magnet and keep everything you want on the face a little away from the edge.
  4. Monitor colors do not represent print colors and all printers do not print the same. If you care about color, you should request a PMS match - $20 per color. We do not offer any refunds for color discrepancies unless you have paid for a color match.
  5. Print the file you are going to send us before you submit it to make sure you are happy with the quality.
  6. If you submit a Word, Publisher, or Power Point file you will be charged a $10 fee for us to convert it to an image file. You will also need to approve a proof prior to production. These files do not let us know a font substitution has occurred.
  7. REQUEST a proof if you are uncertain of your artworks quality, size, or positioning. There is a $10 charge to have our graphics team review your artwork and send you a proof via email for your approval prior to production. If you choose not to go through our proofing process, keep in mind, we do not offer refunds due to image placement or image quality.
